Betty Kane, LMBT #6222 is a NC licensed massage therapist and bodyworker, who is board certified through the NCBTMB. Since 2006 she has been doing massage in the triangle area. She devotes all of her time to her practice --not splitting her time among several places of employment. The goal is to be available to her clients for their massage therapy needs.
Betty is a 2005 graduate of The Medical Arts Massage school - Gwinnett College where she specialized in therapeutic medical massage.
Betty's skills were gained by working with a diverse clientele ranging from who have had surgeries, individuals seeking relaxation, those who have repetitive strain, athletes seeking support for training regimens, those working toward fitness goals,
Betty is a Certified Cosmetic Surgery Therapist. She has had advanced training in post-op cosmetic plastic surgical procedures utilizing Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She has experience working with clients who have had cosmetic surgeries such as tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), liposuction, facelifts, breast augmentation, breast reduction, implant placement, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL's) among others.
Betty is also fully trained in the Vodder technique of Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
Betty has worked in a hospital wellness center for six years. She has had experience providing home health care services. She has also worked in spas, holistic medical centers and on-site at sporting events.
In addition to her western massage training, Betty received training in Traditional Thai Medical Massage, with intensive training in Chang Mai, Thailand in 1996. This training enables a translation of benefits of Eastern massage to those more familiar with Western modalities.
